Spring is right around the corner (the equinox is next Monday). Let's celebrate by getting out in nature together!
Join Firefly's 1/2-day Snowshoeing and Yoga Retreat on Saturday, March 25. We'll meet at a local trail in Evergreen, Colorado at 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time to enjoy an approximately three-mile romp through the woods together. It's been a fairly light-on-snow Winter so far for us, but March typically brings our best snow. If not, we'll simply hike.
After enjoying the fresh mountain air, we'll head into the beautiful yoga space at True Yoga for a 60-minute yin yoga and meditation workshop. Yin will be the perfect complement to help us stretch and recover from snowshoeing.
If you're not familiar with yin, it's my favorite style of yoga, and is great to create balance. This form of yoga provides you with the opportunity to slow down, connect with your body in a new way, and settle your mind as we hold in stretches on the floor for three to five minutes each, supported by any props you need. The many benefits include:
Calms and balances the mind and body
Reduces stress and anxiety
Releases fascia to improve joint mobility
No experience with yoga required to join! We'll also join in a brief meditation to help you connect with what you want more of in your life.
