Get your groove back on retreat with Firefly

This year has been hard. There's no doubt about that.

If you've been feeling off balance, planning a getaway focused on self-care can help you get your groove back. I've been offering retreats for the past five years following my own experience of gaining a deeper connection to myself while attending retreats around the world.

We each retreat for our own personal reasons. Some simply like to travel with others and have everything planned for them, while others want to deepen their yoga practice or engage in self-discovery.  

Some of Firefly's previous retreat participants (in their own words) have described their experience on retreat as:

  • "a much needed retreat (in the truest sense of the word) from everyday pressures, worries and endless tasks" 

  • "temporarily removing yourself and entering a positive environment where you can nurture your body and mind, then take that renewed perspective and bring back healthy habits that you can incorporate into your life back at home"

We all could use a bit of each of those things right now. Am I right?

Each time I lead a retreat, my favorite thing is watching the transformation of the participants over the course of our time together, whether it's over a long weekend in Colorado, or a week-long trip overseas. I've heard multiple times how life-changing it is to nurture your body, mind and soul on retreat. 

While I had to move all of 2020's retreats to 2021 due to COVID, I'm looking forward to traveling with you in 2021. I also have a few things up my sleeve for half-day retreats at home (both virtual and in Colorado) for this Fall/Winter. Stay tuned for more on those opportunities coming soon!

In the meantime, I continue to offer virtual and in-person yoga classes to support your practice. I'll be adding another donation-based, online class via Zoom on Thursdays starting in November. The format will be vin-yin (~30 minutes of vinyasa flow and 30 minutes of yin yoga - deep stretches).
