Spring and Summer Events and Workshops

May through August

We're excited to offer in-person events to help you connect to yourself, others, and nature, and online classes and workshops to deepen your yoga practice. There's something for everyone with walking, hiking, yoga, and stand-up paddle boarding. Satisfy your longing for a connection to nature as you explore all that Colorado has to offer. Tap into nature's ability to inspire.

Experiencing mindful time outdoors to attune to nature's cycles is a powerful way to reduce stress, improve well-being, and find more joy in life! The average American spends 11 hours per day looking at a screen and more than 90% of their lives indoors. Unplug and join us outside to rejuvenate your soul. Scroll down to learn more about each event, and click the links to register. We look forward to seeing you!

Denver Heart & Stroke Walk
Saturday, June 21

As a heart disease survivor, I'm pleased to be leading a team for the annual Denver Heart & Stroke Walk again this year.

The actual walk at Sloan's Lake Park in Denver is on Saturday, June 21. Since I'll be out of town, I'm planning to host a walk for friends and family at Elk Meadow Park in Evergreen in July (date TBD). Join our team, Fireflies Care, to walk on either date.

Whether you choose to walk with us, participate by walking where you are, or make a donation to our team, take a moment to consider your impact. You will keep hearts beating.

Heart Walk has always been about coming together, honoring survivors, raising lifesaving funds – and having fun along the way.

Thank you for your passion and dedication to the mission:  To be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives!

One Night Yoga Retreat
Tentatively July 18 - 19

If you can't get away for a full week or weekend for a retreat, join us for this one-night retreat in Evergreen, Colorado.

We kick off the evening with a yin yoga and meditation workshop. This practice is suitable for all levels and involves holding in stretches (on the floor) for three to five minutes. The workshop will include a brief meditation to help you get clear on what you want more of in your life.

After yoga, we'll enjoy a home-cooked meal. Your participation in the cooking is optional.

On Saturday morning, we'll do a brief vinyasa yoga session to prepare our bodies for movement, have breakfast together, and then head out on a three- to four-mile hike on a local trail.
