Half-Day Outdoor Adventure Retreat
Saturday, September 20, 2025
Join Firefly Community for a half-day outdoor adventure to welcome fall. In the afternoon, we'll start with a hike at O'Fallon Park in Kittredge, Colorado. After the hike, we'll head to Bear Creek Lake Park for a 90-minute Stand-up Paddleboard (SUP) Yin Yoga class.
We'll meet at 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time to begin the hike. As a group, we'll choose a three- or four-mile loop trail.
The SUP Yin Yoga class includes all necessary equipment and instruction, so no prior SUP experience is required. We'll review safety information onshore before paddling to a calm section of the lake to practice yin yoga poses on the boards. After a relaxing practice, we'll take a few moments to meditate before paddling back to shore as the sun begins to set.
Registration is closed for this event.
Fall Yin Yoga (4-Part Series)
Thursdays, October 9 - 30
Join us for this four-part yin yoga series to help you create balance during the changing seasons. Ayurveda, considered by many scholars to be the oldest healing science, originated in India more than 5,000 years ago. In Sanskrit, Ayurveda means “The Science of Life.”

Ayurveda identifies three basic types of energy: pitta, vata, and kapha. Summer's heat and intensity is aligned with the pitta dosha. As autumn begins to bring in cooler temperatures and drying winds, it often leads to an increase in vata.
Focusing on gentle yoga during this transition can help ground excess vata energy. Through this series, we'll focus on slowing down, getting grounded, and tapping into our inner wisdom.
Classes will be held on Thursdays, October 9 to October 30 from noon to 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time. Classes are held via Zoom so you can join from wherever you are. If you need to miss a class, the recording will be provided to you.
Register for the series here for $60. Students who hold a 10-class pack with Firefly can use their punches for this series.
